Celebrity Haircut: How to Take Care Wavy Hair

Are you using your hair care products properly with your curly or wavy hair? It may surprise you to find out that you probably aren't. Here are some easy tips that will show you the proper ways to use your hair care products that allow you to promote your wavy or curly hair. By the end you will be able to keep your lovely curls for a long time to come.

1. When you get a haircut for wavy hair, it is always best to choose a good leave in conditioner or cream, that is designed for wavy or curly hair. And make sure you only apply it to the bottom 3/4 of your hair. Do not want it to touch your scalp at all. Just spread it onto both palms, and scrunch it in gently.

2. It should take about 15 minutes for your hair to dry, just don't touch it, or even attempt to comb it. If you have overly thick or hair that frizzes easily, you might want to start putting in your hair products right after you shower.

3. If you have problem hair that is prone to frizzing, you might want to scrunch in a liquid gel (for curly or wavy hair) that is designed to get rid of, and combat frizzy hair. This is optional, and only needs to be done if you have problems with frizz.

4. Take either some mousse or gel that promotes curls and waves, spread it over your palms, and scrunch gently. Or, if you have extra wavy hair, you can rake the product in, and then scrunch the curls back into place, it is up to you really. You can also experiment by trying to scrunch while your hair is upside down, so you can possibly give your roots a good lift.
